About
Multifaceted singer and musician Martin Carlberg, originally from a small town outside of Gothenburg, encountered his musical awakening during his early teenage years. This was in the 80’s - the great era of Kiss, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi and the like. The new-found passion hit hard, and music has been his constant companion and full-time occupation ever since. He learned to master the guitar on his own, after realizing classical guitar lessons were a bit too formal for his liking. As a youngster, Martin ditched school and started pursuing his musical career through exploration of different genres, playing in bands, and doing live shows. Even though the guitar is Martin's main tool of preference, he can easily be described as a multitalent. He handles all kinds of instruments and possesses a broad experience from different genres. His songs are built around feeling and characterized by clear tones and true acoustic craftsmanship, sometimes twisting it up with riffs and licks of an electric guitar.
