Michelle Ross is a violinist, composer, and multi-instrumental improviser. A protégé of Itzhak Perlman turned multi-disciplinary artist, Michelle is known for her debut album, pop-up project and blog Discovering Bach: Complete Violin Sonatas & Partitas. Her recent collaboration on WE ARE with Jon Batiste was nominated for the GRAMMY “Best Contemporary Classical Composition” for MOVEMENT 11’ and won the GRAMMY “Best Album of the Year.” 
 Michelle recently was soloist for Arvo Pärt Fratres with James Blachly and Experiential Orchestra at the Met Museum’s Temple of Dendur. A frequent artist at Marlboro Music Festival and the Lucerne Festival, Michelle is in demand as soloist, chamber musician, and guest concertmaster around the world. Highlights include working closely with Teodor Currentzis and musicAeterna, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra. Michelle collaborates across genres and mediums, collaborating with dancers, actors, visual artists, curating concerts everywhere from art galleries to mountaintops, and passionate about music ranging from the Baroque to electronics.
