About
Christian Nanzell grew up in Halmstad, a small town in the south of Sweden. With his sight set on music from an earlier age the only question was when, not if, he would do this for a living. His father, an avid music lover, owned a record shop and Christian remembers going through stacks of records as a kid, marvelling at the artists and bands on the covers. Inspired by his idols, he started playing guitar at the age of 9 and hasn’t put it down since. Nanzell has split his musical persona into multiple projects, allowing him to explore different styles and facets of his artistry. With Mochas, he delves into a more vulnerable side of his craft focusing on the inner journey of mind, body and soul. Inspired by sci-fi and nature, he experiments with sound and sensory qualities through stripped down ambient productions that put you in a meditative state of timeless flow.
