About
Sebastian Winskog was born in Linköping 1988 and later moved to Stockholm where he found his love. Today he lives in the small village of Segersta in Hälsingland, Sweden, where he spends most of the time in his studio. He grew up in a family full of musicians and by the age of 13 he got his first very own guitar. A few years later he went to a music high school where the interest for melodies grew. These romantic tunes take us on a musical journey with influences from the era of early baroque and classical music. He collects his inspiration from classical legends like Bach, but also from the deficiency of dusty lo-fi sounds and unique sound spectrums. The music is played by Sebastian Winskog on an imperfect guitar bought in Australia. The imperfection lies in the strings, and because of the humidity he has to replace them for every time the guitar is used.
