About
Stephen Rozier is an artist project by Bo Järpehag. Bo is from a music-loving family, born and raised in Finspång, Sweden. It all began with the living room piano where he started picking out melodies from the song Down On The Corner, by Creedence Clearwater Revival. His interest in music grew and he joined a choir led by his brother, where he first played the bass and later took his mother’s place at the piano. Learning how to improvise and playing by ear were experiences that came to play a big role in his future musical career. Gospel has always been close to the heart for Bo, but the teen years were influenced by jazz rock and fusion. He began writing his own pieces during his teens, and has since then played and sung in 37 countries. Today he lives in the countryside with his wife who he works with and has three sons who are all dedicated musicians. The songs written by Bo and his wife Elsa, are continuously sung in churches in Scandinavia and many other countries around the world. The sweet and emotional tunes from Stepan Rozier gives hope and light in dull day. Eminent piano melodies that let you dream away.
