Tyra Chantey is a talented singer from the northern suburbs of Stockholm, Sweden. Her childhood was all about expressing creativity by dancing, singing and acting. In her teen years, she was offered a spot in the renowned “Tensta Gospel Choir”, which gave her the opportunity to sing, write and perform. The people around her became like an extra family, with similar backgrounds and values. After high school, she moved to Los Angeles to study music. She experienced the cultural differences within the industry and embraced new ways of creating music. Today she is based in Stockholm expressing memories and feelings through her music, influenced by her environment and roots. The characteristic sound of Tyra Chantey slows down the pulse and takes us on a soulful ride through clouds. Clean and elegant productions meet the deep and sensual voice of the gifted artist.
