Ali Sabah's second EP of Iraqi folk music taps into many sentimental memories and emotions. 'Ghaith' is my best friend's favourite song, which he asks me to play every time we meet.' Hanin' is a melody I wrote when I broke up with a girl many years ago. 'Sabah' means morning in Arabic and is also my mother's name. When I lived in Iraq, my mother used to wake me up in the morning to get ready for school. That time has been important to me, and therefore I have dedicated this song to her.'
