19-year-old indie pop singer-songwriter Alex Kehm faces heartbreak on their new single “See You.” Sparse production, handled by Alex and Bay Area producer Cushy, sweeps Alex’s voice up in a swirl of cavernous reverb on the verse. The song culminates in haunting falsetto harmonies on the chorus, with the image of their ex etched in their mind’s eye. “I wrote ‘See You’ based on the idea of remembering a past failed relationship,” Alex says of the track. “I really wanted it to capture the point of view of someone reminiscing the memories that the relationship held, despite the other person being with someone new at the end.”
